Ram-Bul LLC offers sales and distribution of fasteners for the North American automotive market. Ram-Bul, a joint venture of Ramco Specialties and Bulten, produces and distributes fasteners to the FSP-based North American auto market and has access to both internally threaded and externally threaded fasteners of the highest quality.
With Ramco’s manufacturing experience in internally threaded fasteners and Bulten’s manufacturing expertise in externally threaded fasteners, Ram-Bul offers a full range of domestically manufactured fasteners. Domestic manufacturing will also be expanded at Ram-Bul's Northeast Ohio headquarters.
Bulten is one of the leading suppliers of fasteners to the international automotive industry. The company’s product range includes everything from customer-specific standard products to customized special fasteners. The company also provides technical development, line-feeding, logistics, material and production expertise. Bulten offers a Full Service Provider concept or parts thereof. The company was founded in 1873, has some 1,300 employees in nine countries and a head office in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Bulten will also develop a new U.S. based subsidiary for producing externally threaded fasteners for the same market. The formation of the joint venture and subsidiary, to be located at Ramco’s plant near Cleveland, establishes Bulten’s full service provider (FSP) concept and a manufacturing footprint in the USA.
